Fanfiction Lady

I'm slowly getting back to fandom. I've been updating rules at some of my communities, and soon I'll also work on their tags.

I'll still be mostly active at LJ, which I strongly prefer over DW. But that doesn't mean that I'm going to abandon my DW communities. In fact, I've never abandoned them. I've always kept an eye on them to see if any rule-breakers would try to sneak in. Fortunately, this has only happened once or twice. Anyway, my comms are pretty low-maintainance for the most part.

I opened my DW account some months ago but barely put it to use.

I often stumble upon posts made by DW fans, so this week I thought I might stop by and take a closer look at the site's features, communities and whatnot. I'm very happy with what I found, and the three_weeks_for_dw project was all that I needed to finally become active here.

Now I'm so excited that I've even created three DW comms in a row: whyilikethischaracter (for character manifestos), whyilikethisship (for ship manifestos) and harrypotterdays (general Harry Potter stuff).

"Why I Like this Character" and "Why I Like this Ship" are both multifandom. "Harry Potter Days" is based on my LJ comm harrypotterdays, though it won't be an exact mirror; I expect it to have DW-only content.

I guess at first I'll be creating content for "Harry Potter Days" all by myself, because I'm not sure I'll manage to attract a reasonable amount of members in the short term. I'm more optimistic about the squeeing/manifesto comms though, because they're multifandom. ^^
